Kampfire is a video production company based in NYC who needed to showcase their portfolio of video work in a clean, easy to use, and mobile-friendly website. Built with WordPress, the new website features a clean and simple aesthetic that lets the videos speak for themselves.
The APA-NYM is a professional organization dedicated to creating community, networking and advancement opportunities for professionals in the urban planning industry. They needed a robust solution that would allow their members to post events and job listings, write articles, share updates, promote sponsors, and interact with one another in a discussion forum. Using WordPress and the community plugin BuddyPress, we developed a solution that gave their members differing levels of access, the ability to create and manage groups based on specialization, and accepted the submission of events, articles, and job-postings in a safe, secure, and curated manner.
Discovery Search Partners wanted a clean and eye-catching look for their new website. Using metaphorical and uplifting imagery paired with a thin, elegant typeface gives the site an upscale and elegant feel that speaks to their audience of in-demand executive talent and power-players in the business and financial world. Built on Drupal with my friends at Bluestone Creative Group.
PacketViper required a website that would help establish them as a leading-edge technology services company. Following the latest trends in website design, we developed a site that feels contemporary, bright, colorful, and engaging, with numerous calls to action spread throughout the site. Built using HubSpot, the website also features numerous landing pages that allow for improved customer interactions and management.
Rentals Unlimited needed a custom eCommerce website that could account for their hands-on sales approach. Unlike your typical eCommerce websites, Rentals Unlimited asks their users, who are often professional event planners, to submit a wishlist, which is sent to a sales representative for follow up. This allows the Rentals Unlimited team to better assist their customers by providing guidance and helping them meet their budgetary goals. This required a good deal of customization to the WooCommerce installation on their WordPress-powered website. The gorgeous design was crafted to target their core audience of professional event planners, and made use of scrolling textures and a warm, graceful color scheme based on their corporate green. Launched Spring 2015.
It was essential for Rentals Unlimited that their Shopping Cart solution worked on tablets and mobile devices. Thanks to the Twitter Bootstrap framework, crafting the responsive design was a piece of cake, and equally as gorgeous as the full desktop experience.
Cako was looking for a website design for their Magento eCommerce website. Based on their newly-designed app, the website design features an exciting combination of candy color, playful fonts, and rich textures. While they had an internal eCommerce development team in place, they wanted an experienced creative professional with an incredible attention to detail to design the website. This is where I came in. Working with their marketing director, I was able to develop a vibrant, colorful, and gorgeous design. The end result is a website design that looks nearly as delicious as cupcakes they sell.
Empyreal EMR needed help designing the look and feel of both their Medical Records app and their promotional website. Using a clean, clinical style, we were able to craft a uniform online presence, while giving each platform their own identity. The website was built on the Twitter Bootstrap using WordPress, with a HubSpot blog.
As many doctors are now using their iPhones and Tablets, the app needed to be built on a responsive framework. Using a combination of multiple push menus, we were able to create a streamlined mobile interface that allows for an extreme ease of use.
For the logo, Empyreal EMR wanted something in line with the medical profession, but with a modern, technological feel. We chose a jeweled green color palette, as green is often associated with medicine and wellness, and used them within a shape reminiscent of a a gemstone or shield.
CGI needed a major overhaul to their website. The new website would contain a massive amount of information about the company, the different genetic tests and services they provide, as well as information about their partnerships, publications, and collaborations. The website required scores of collapsing test menus, numerous custom fields, post-types and templates, and a robust blog section featuring their press, news articles, company updates, videos and webinars. With all of this information, it was important the design was clean and simple, allowing the content to take center stage. The end result is a sleek, yet robust website that speaks to the clinical and scientific nature of the business.
The website was designed using the Twitter Bootstrap responsive framework to ensure optimal interaction across all devices. Once completed, the WordPress theme was ported over to their Human Resources website. The design was further customized to speak to the needs of an online employee portal.
The Hauser Group's new website needed to better define the two divisions within the company, the Insurance Group and the M&A Transaction Group. By associating with a different color with each division, we were able to give them each a unique identity. The homepage features animating slides and introductory content for each division. Large and powerful images have been paired with the bright colors and animations throughout the site, to add vitality to the dry and technical content, and give Hauser the appearance of a large player within the industry.
A national insurance firm, The Hauser Group has two main divisions, one handling insurance, the other dealing with M&A Transactions. They wanted their branding to show this separation visually, and we achieved this through the use of colors. While the H icon existed in their previous logo, it was paired with dated, italicized type that didn't work well together. The H icon was modified, the new colors added, and the text updated with a more powerful and corporate block typeface.
As Hauser spends a good deal of time preparing documents for their clients, it was imperative that their Word and PowerPoint templates looked absolutely top-notch. As both of these applications are notoriously difficult to deal with, it was important that these documents be easy to use while still maintaining a strong brand identity, which is what we achieved here.
Bellefield wanted their website to stand apart from the competition in the legal marketplace. Therefore developed a vibrant color scheme, a selection of photos, and dozens of unique icons to highlight the important content and showcase how the iTimeKeep app works. The finished website was built using a combination of WordPress and HubSpot for the blogging component. The website also feature a robust user guide, and a private support website for paying customers, all built using variants of the same core WordPress theme.
Along with the mobile website, Bellefield was looking for guidance on the design of their mobile App. The same vibrant color scheme and UI rules were applied, to create a seamless experience. As the iTimeKeep app works on all devices, this continuity is incredibly helpful when using is toggling between the App and the support website.
But before we could build any of these things, we needed a logo for both the App and the company itself. A color palette was developed, based on their existing green, and a hand-tweak typeface used for both logos, along with a leaf motif borrowed from their previous branding. The end result was a family of logos that each have their own unique design working in harmony with one another.
Along with the websites and logos, Bellefield needed a full marketing program, including multiple brochures, eBooks, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, Word templates, sell sheet PDFs and a couple of trade show displays.
